中國玉林狗肉節和吃狗肉引發的衝突

中國廣西玉林在6月21日將舉行狗肉節，

無論國內外藝人紛紛在網上發聲，

在社交媒體的貼文加上‪#‎StopYulin2015‬ 標籤，抵制吃狗肉行為。

昨天這個周末是中國大陸廣西玉林每年一度的「玉林夏至荔枝狗肉節」，估計有1萬隻狗會被屠宰食用，而據統計，中國一年會宰殺1千萬隻狗被供饕客食用，但隨著外界的批評聲浪，以及國內外動保團體的抗議，玉林民眾屠殺犬隻的行為也轉趨低調，今日的狗肉節照常舉行，但動保團體和記者的到場，讓當地屠宰狗隻的攤販繃緊神經，甚至惱羞成怒的說：「如果再來拍，不殺狗殺人了！」

每年夏至在中國廣西玉林舉辦荔枝狗肉節，由當地民間自發形成的節日。源自中國民間諺語：「冬至魚生夏至狗。」儘管近年來受到動保人士的大力撻伐，玉林當地政府也聲稱
”節“不會再發生。

但今年還是照常舉行，成千上萬的狗和貓依然難逃殺害的命運，國際動保團體，亞洲動物基金會（Animals Asia Foundation）在狗肉節前夕指出大陸不受監管的狗肉貿易，刺激了盜竊寵物的行為。而這些被當作肉食販賣的寵物大部分都以驚嚇過度、飢餓和脫水而死亡！

國際動保團體，亞洲動物基金（Animals Asia Foundation）在狗肉節前夕剛剛公布了他們歷時4年完成的調查，中國不受監管的狗肉貿易，刺激了偷盜寵物的行為。

在Twitter上，國外明星，包括瑞奇·熱維斯(Ricky Gervais)和《暮光之城》中飾演吸血鬼的妮基·瑞德(Nikki Reed)，紛紛支持「終止2015玉林狗肉節」(‪#‎StopYuLin2015‬)的議題。

明星們還在Change.org網站上號召，呼籲中國政府採取行動，中止屠殺狗隻的請願，目前已超過100萬人聯署。

在國際輿論壓力下，這陣子中國廣西玉林垌口市場的狗肉攤販，感到草木皆兵，一看到鏡頭，攤商就會集結起來，喝斥拍攝者，中午時更有掛著「垌口辦事處」證件的當地民眾衝向記者，要求記者把拍下的影片刪除才能離開，期間不停用語言暴力恐嚇記者「再過來就打你」，還說：「如果再來拍，不殺狗殺人了﹗」

當記者和動保義工前往宰殺加工犬隻的垌口市場時，一名男子把守巷口，當男子看到記者時，瞬間變臉，拿起一盆殺狗放血的血水，潑向記者，還出手趕人，隨後還有3名掛著「垌口辦事處」證件的人衝向記者，捉住記者前臂，要求記者把拍下的影片和照片刪除，才能離開。

We killed a lot of animals to fulfill our appetite,
some people may say killing a dog is just an similar act, but for me "Yu Lin dog meat festival "still an unacceptable event.
If this can be stopped, perhaps the other protest will be held to protect
the other animals as well..

Few days before the event starts, we can stop this with a simple action.
